Flowers are these little bursts of joy and sunshine in what can sometimes be a harsh and unsettling world. The short-lived life of flowers inspires me as they remind me to stop, and quite literally, smell the roses. Life is also fleeting, whether we are here for but a moment, or a hundred years. I hope we all remember to focus on the good, the light, and the joy around us so that none of our days are wasted focusing on things beyond our control. Life is too short, not to stop and enjoy the flowers.
