MFA Summer Intensive 2024

My second summer intensive was quite transformative. I was fully into research mode for my thesis, I had explored a variety of artistic approaches, and I allowed myself to fall into my work. As a result of this, the work created during the summer intensive feels more cohesive and I feel even more prepared to begin my thesis work this fall. My exploration of painting on draped fabric and allowing pattern to shine through the main object lit a fire in me and I can’t wait to see what I create next!
